Lancaster and Morecambe Short Break Service Manager position / Full time, Permanent, 37 hours per week |
Salary £43,421 - £48,474 per annum

Short Break Service Manager - Lancaster and Morecambe Short Break Service Service

Hours of work: 37 per week - Monday to Friday with occasional out of hours work / standby duty required.

As a Grade 10 Manager you will:

  • Be responsible for providing overall leadership to the service, in particular providing supervision, motivation & direction to the Team Manager and staff team within the service.
  • To ensure good quality, and person centred care and support is delivered.
  • Be the Registered Manager for the service ensuring that the Care Quality Commission essential standards of quality and safety are implemented, and that conditions of registration are adhered to.
  • Have responsibility for the management of a service budget and for delivering services within an agreed financial allocation.
  • Be involved in strategic planning for the service.

You must be registered (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council. For Social Worker/Care Manager positions where non social worker qualifications are accepted, registration is not required, and you will be appointed as a Care Manager.
