Who you are

We're looking for a Shopper Marketing Manager with strong commercial acumen, a robust strategic mindset, a strong affiliation with the UK FMCG market, and a sound knowledge of the marketing landscape.

With YoY triple digit growth in grocery, and listings in all six key UK grocers, MOTH is the UK's #1 premium RTD brand with no plans to slow down. You'll be a doer, thinker and an innovator who will champion and shape MOTH's next phase of growth in the UK and Ireland off-trade, working across all off-trade customers to ensure the brand continues to lead the category in an increasingly competitive and dynamic environment.

Working closely with the sales team and the wider marketing department, you'll deliver key marketing campaigns and initiatives that build the MOTH brand effectively within the off-trade. To continue MOTH's incredible growth in off-trade and ensure the brand remains at the forefront of the category, this role requires a strong blend of creativity, commercial acumen and strategic thinking, as well as an in-depth understanding of the FMCG, drinks and off-trade markets.

The successful candidate will join the marketing team based in London, working closely with the off-trade sales team, and will report into the UK Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy for MOTH in the off-trade, managing local channel A&P:

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute out-of-this world off-trade marketing plans that deliver against the overall marketing and business goals of the company.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of off-trade initiatives, in support of achieving off-trade sales targets.
  • Brand Activation: Deliver engaging activations aligned to the brand plan that build the brand effectively and drive rate of sale. Manage the end-to-end process of brand activations, from ideation to execution.
  • Off-trade Events: Plan and oversee MOTH's participation in industry events and trade shows, to showcase our products, build relationships and strengthen brand presence, working closely with the Brand Manager and operations.
  • Brand Visibility: Work closely with the design team to deliver best-in-class activations, promotional materials and POS, specifically designed for off-trade customers.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget for the off-trade sector, ensuring the most effective and impactful use of spend to deliver best ROS.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and evaluate the efficiencies of marketing plans and spend on driving sales performance. Provide regular reports and insights to key stakeholders and track key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future approaches.
  • Market Research: Work closely with the Category Manager to identify emerging market trends, analyse competitor activities, and monitor changing consumer behaviours to inform our future marketing plans within the off-trade.
  • Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including key customers, distributors, and brand partners.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of the UK off-trade, as well as robust marketing and commercial understanding.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in FMCG, drinks, wine or spirits or luxury goods, with a specific focus on off-trade marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking to maintain the brand as category leader within the market.
  • A result-orientated mindset to deliver against key priorities and objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Passion for brands and cross-category experience.
  • Comfortable analysing data to drive decision-making.
