Location: Cannock (WS11 8JH)
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Night shift
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage operational performance, resource and workload planning on shift to achieve agreed KPI's on productivity, quality and cost
- Support, develop and performance manage the Team Leaders to drive a high performance culture and aligned approach at all times with all other Shift Managers
- Manage cost budget for own area and identify cost saving opportunities where appropriate
- Ensure that OMS routines, SOP's, SSOW and company policies and processes are being adhered to at all times and updated as required
- Understand the needs of the customer and put in place effective plans to deliver on set KPI's/targets
- Achievement of KPI's on productivity, quality and cost providing commentary and improvement plans where KPI's are not achieved
- Maintain a strong H&S culture on site. Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures
- Control absence levels on shift by robust and consistent application of absence management process
- Conduct management responsibilities such as 1:1's, Performance review, disciplinary and grievance processes and return to work meetings
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previously Warehouse Management experience at Shift Manager level is essential
- Experience of working within an automated Retail/Online supply chain environment is desirable
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
- Demonstrable record of delivering against targets for own area of responsibility
- Strong understanding of leading change management projects with particular focus on site culture
- Knowledge of Process Improvement techniques, CAPA, to resolve operational issues
- Self motivated individual able to demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a wider shift and site management team as well as on own initiative
