The Role
AMS is proud to deliver Statement of Work (SOW) and Resource Augmentation (RA) Management services to the UK Central Government under the PSR framework, bringing visibility and control to the request and lifecycle management process of new SOW and RA requirements.
You will be accountable for ensuring an excellent experience for the Contracting Authority stakeholder from the initial request being raised through to the completion of the Services Procurement agreement.
You will collaborate with stakeholders providing guidance and education, providing guidance on as needed, as well as supporting customer stakeholders running competitive requirements.
Key Accountabilities
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the e2e Procurement Service as a Subject Matter Expert to customers
- Managing complex Request for Proposal (RFP) procurements
- Responsible for ensuring a fair and open competition is undertaken
- Being seen as a trusted advisor, building strong working relationships and delivering an excellent experience to the stakeholder
- Accountable for guiding the stakeholder through the process outlining expectations
- Management of any issues/disputes raised during the lifecycle of the agreement
- First point of contact for the stakeholder in relation to specific SOW queries, variations and escalations
Skills & Experience
You’ll need to demonstrate:
Must haves
- Experience in Services or Indirect Procurement
- Proven track record of facilitating Competitive bid process
- Experience in delivering measurable benefits through Commercial negotiations with suppliers
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with partners/suppliers
- Experience in delivering measurable savings through SOW solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
Nice to haves
- Public Sector Experience including Public Sector processes, principles regulations and directives
