Salary: £41,361 + dependent upon skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:

Support the Scope, planning and prioritisation of projects

Support to Delivery: Issue management / Early warning signs / Integration with other Work Packages and International UK Partners / support to schedule and risk management

Support to project reporting, particularly qualitative data

Support to Engineering Maturity gates and Life Cycle Management

JIRA reporting, co-ordination with industry partner data. Comms and Project information (e.g. confluence)
-
Management of individual projects
-
Chair Short term planning reviews

Supporting CAM and producing reports on performance and cost

Interfacing with Project Control team
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:

Proficient in MS packages Word & Excel (essential to have Pivot and Formula experience)

Experience of working within a project management/coordinator role

Operating within a large scale company

The Fast Jet Support – Service Operations Team:
The Fast Jet Support – Service Operations Team sits within the Support and Services Delivery Unit and plays a critical role in delivering sustained operational excellence across fast jet platforms. As a Service Operations Project Officer, you will be embedded within this high-performing team, working closely with project control specialists, engineers, and delivery managers to manage scope, scheduling, resources, risks, and contractual deliverables.
The team operates at the heart of collaboration between the UK Ministry of Defence, key UK industry partners, and—depending on the programme—international stakeholders. Together, they ensure effective project planning, issue resolution, and the seamless integration of complex workstreams.
This is a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement, where you will also contribute to the development and implementation of robust project management processes that underpin the success of fast jet support operations.
