Care Performance Manager (Step-Up Opportunity)

Location: Brighton (Head Office) with travel across Sussex & Hampshire
Hours: Full-time | Permanent

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager or Home Manager ready to take the next step into a broader, group-level role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a single service and gain exposure across multiple homes, supporting Managers and services during periods of change, challenge or transition.

As a Care Performance Manager, you will work closely with Home Managers and senior leadership to support quality, compliance and operational performance across our homes. You will not hold direct line management responsibility but will play a key role in strengthening services and supporting leadership teams where needed.

What you'll do

  • Support Home Managers to maintain high standards of care and compliance
  • Assist with audits, quality improvement activity and CQC readiness
  • Step into services to provide short-term management support where required
  • Support homes during periods of change, absence or operational challenge
  • Identify areas for improvement and help implement practical solutions
  • Promote consistency and share best practice across homes

What we're looking for

  • Experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager within elderly care
  • Good understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding and compliance
  • A proactive and supportive leadership style
  • Confidence working across different teams and environments
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel regularly
  • Full UK driving licence

Multi-site experience is not required - we are looking for someone with the right attitude, leadership potential and desire to grow.
