NIHCSS are a partnership between Together UK and St Martins Housing Trust. We support adults with severe mental health issues and work with them to lead independent lives. NIHCSS are recruiting for a Mental Health Service Manager dedicated to supporting and leading a team who's vision is to help people live ordinary, independent and happy lives through extraordinary support.

As our Mental Health Service Manager, you will play a crucial role within the NIHCSS service. You will lead, manage, and develop a portfolio of mental health services, ensuring safe delivery, meeting objectives, and representing the organisation to commissioners. With the support of a Deputy, you will be responsible for leading a staffing team of 22.

Pay: GBP 36,145.70 per year

Main responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the mental health services portfolio
  • Provide leadership and support to teams and workers
  • Ensure services are delivered safely and meet quality standards
  • Collaborate within the Senior Management Team to achieve organisational goals
  • Oversee the management of overall operational budgetary and financial responsibilities

Essential requirements

  • Strong understanding of mental health conditions and recovery models
  • Senior management experience within health, social care, or mental health charity sector
  • Experience in leading, managing, and developing staff teams
  • Effective communication skills and ability to inspire trust and confidence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital media platforms
  • Excellent project management, development and evaluation skills
