| Salary £53,888-£58,282 Per annum | Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week | Pro Rata
An opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager post in Adult Social Care, Mental Health Service.
We are looking for someone who is motivated and who possesses great leadership skills and drive, to join our existing team of Senior Managers.
This post will be aligned to the Head of Service in Mental Health with responsibilities in North Lancashire as well as countywide as postholders may be asked to cover across the service as appropriate to meet business need.
The successful postholder will work closely with the existing Service Managers within Mental Health Senior Management Team to lead and support the operational teams as well as support the service to continue to improve, implement and deliver new ways of working. In leading and supporting the Team Managers you will ensure the delivery of high-quality assessments, reviews and support plans for individuals proportionate to need, that focus on choice, and enable people to achieve their optimum level of independence
You will be responsible for and/or contribute to the management of performance in relation to key indicators. You will ensure that the ethos and principles of strength-based approaches and great social work continue to be embedded into the day to day work of teams and will be a critical part of the governance of the new ways of working.
The role will involve working closely with both internal and external partners and stakeholders to effect change and deliver a partnership approach within the current climate of financial challenge across the public sector and will also include representing Adult Social Care.
