Salary £53,888 - £58,282 per annum | Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week | Adult Social Care

Are you an experienced Social Worker or Occupational Therapist looking to take the next step in your career in Adult Social Care?

Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Service Manager to provide operational leadership within Adult Social Care. Working under the direction of the Head of Service, you'll play a key role in shaping high-quality, personalised services that make a real difference to people's lives.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead in a dynamic environment, working collaboratively across health and social care systems, driving service improvement, and ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a designated area of adult social care practice, ensuring services are person-centred, compliant with legislation, and financially sustainable.
  • Oversee joint delivery arrangements with other services and agencies, including integrated health and social care initiatives, safeguarding functions, and discharge planning, to ensure seamless support for residents.
  • Direct and support operational teams, shaping strategy and driving continuous improvement across service areas. Exercise significant decision-making authority to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Ensure services meet statutory requirements and professional standards, using data and feedback to inform planning and maintain excellence in practice across the directorate.
