This is an exciting opportunity to join the Housing Options service in Bristol at a time of positive change.
We are re-designing and investing in our service to:
- Increase our success in preventing homelessness.
- End our use of hotels and shared temporary accommodation for families.
- Reduce our use of and spend on Temporary Accommodation.
The cost of Temporary Accommodation is a significant financial challenge for the Council.
This new role creates additional leadership capacity to:
- Lead a team that provides oversight and drives continuous improvement to deliver high quality services across Housing Options
- Provide leadership in the development, promotion and successful implementation of service development initiatives across Housing Options, which support the Council's Homelessness Strategy.
