As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be the dedicated and main point of contact for one of our largest clients, responsible for the delivery of our holistic managed services from Service Desk to Infrastructure operations through to Point of Sale and New Site Openings. You will work with a strong team of passionate IT professionals and our ambitious and supportive client team to maximise the impact of the services we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Communication service performance, problems, and escalations in the context of impact to the business
  • Ensuring that service delivery processes are efficient, effective and compliant with best practices,
  • Leading and motivating a team of service delivery and project staff and providing them with guidance and support,
  • Monitoring and reporting on service delivery performance, quality and risks, and
  • Identifying and implementing service delivery improvements and innovations,

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Service Delivery Manager or a similar role in the IT sector
  • Excellent knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices, such as ITIL
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle complex situations
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team of diverse professionals
  • A relevant degree or certification in IT or related field
