Permanent contract | £33,366 to £35,235 per annum (Scale H) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich
We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking administrator who enjoys working in a varied and busy environment to deliver good quality and effective business support to the Adult Social Services Social Care Community Engagement (SCCE) team ensuring the service is consistent, efficient, and flexible whilst meeting high standards of customer care. The post is also a vital part of the Business Support Management team and will be required to support the continuous improvement activities within the service as well as supporting with wider departmental activities
Working alongside SCCE, our front door service, as we implement and modernise our front door offer is a key accountability of this role. We are looking for someone that will be able to help modernise the administrative processes that support the service. The successful candidate will also need strong analytical skills to provide support to the SCCE teams data driven performance management process. The role will also work closely with a range of colleagues from across the Council and within the department to ensure the specialist areas are delivered and provide a responsive and adaptable response to adhoc, new and urgent requests for support. The successful candidate will need to ensure that the teams are high-performing, customer focused and prepared for the ongoing review and improvement of the Business Support service.
Business support is evolving and the successful candidate will work closely with the Business and Technology Manager, the Service Standards and Business Delivery Manager and the operational team to provide a consistent Living Well support offer across the county and develop and implement long term efficiency savings in line with the ongoing Strategic Review and Social Care transformation projects.
We are looking for someone with a strong management background who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. You will need to be a good people person that can make an impression and build strong working relationships with your team and senior managers across the Department and the rest of the Council. This role will require an individual who can develop innovative proposals/solutions that will help us to meet the increasing demands on our service and who is curious and supportive about how technology can be used to increase our efficiency.
