The SEO Specialist will lead the development and implementation of SEO strategies across iD Mobile to further expand its growing online presence. You will manage content planning, keyword strategy and roadmap planning whilst also working closely with the Product Owner to deliver continuous technical SEO improvements.
As we enter a new era in SEO with the emergence of Google SGE, you will be eager to continually learn new skills and techniques and are never afraid to challenge, or support, proposed strategies, in order to continually improve and stay ahead of the competition.
iD Mobile is one of the fastest growing MVNOs ever in the UK market. We quickly grew to over 1.6 million subscribers as a disruptive new entrant, levering our unique position as the only network owned by Currys (a FTSE 250 company). iD is one of the main strategic growth opportunities for Currys, underpinning its mobile category.
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
• Develop the SEO roadmap, in alignment with business goals and SEO strategy
• Grow online organic keyword presence and organic propositions onsite
• Design keyword discovery and link-building strategy
• Ensure good SEO coding hygiene practices
• Identify barriers / constraints and define, size, prioritise and implement solutions together with the product owner, and your colleagues in ecommerce and digital insight
• Work closely with your ecommerce and digital insight colleagues to define, track, report and drive relevant KPIs
• Oversee content relevance, roadmap, planning, as well as tone of voice alignment, working closely with the Marketing team and their agency
• Manage the SEO agency
You will need:
• Highly proficient in tools such as Webmaster tools, Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Sistrix
• Proven track record of developing and delivering successful SEO strategies
• Knowledgeable about technical SEO setup
• An understanding of AI and its application within the SEO space
• Mobile industry experience
