The role
We have a new opportunity for a talented SEO Executive/Senior SEO Executive to join our leading Marketing department, working on a full range of digital activities. This will include implementing and actioning both on-page and off-page optimisation based on the Myerson SEO Strategy.
What you`ll do and key responsibilities
The successful candidate will play an important role within the Marketing team and the wider Myerson Business Services department. Typical day to day duties will include:
- Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager in the operation, implementation and optimisation of the SEO strategy, including on-page/off-page optimisation
- Implementing website changes including content, internal linking, and other factors to help improve organic search site performance and branding
- Using keyword research and discovery to expand and optimise copy and site structure for improved organic search performance
- Reporting on and analysing SEO performance
- Providing in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
- Offering proficient knowledge of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio
- Acquiring links and spotting opportunities
- Conducting technical audits
- Working closely with our developer to Improve technical SEO
- Working closely with both the Digital Marketing team and wider Marketing team to help support Firm goals
- Championing SEO excellence throughout the team and the wider Firm
- Using Google Tag Manager
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Digital Marketing professional with a minimum of 2-3 years` experience working within a SEO focused role, or alternatively, general digital marketing experience with a high level of SEO knowledge and implementation. You will be knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of SEO, as well as being at the forefront of SEO trends with an eagerness to learn more.
The position would suit someone with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal and organisational skills. The ability to prioritise and keep on top of deadlines is essential. Good communication, excellent English language skills and content writing skills are equally as important. It is important the the successful candidate has a degree in marketing (or similar).
Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience of working at a law firm or within a professional services environment. Above all else, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively within a highly successful team and want to play an active role in contributing to the overall success of the department and the Firm.
