We are looking to expand our team and are searching for a SEO CONTENT MANAGER to join our terrific MARKETING team on a full time basis
Here's what you'll be doing with us:
- Optimise new and existing content for on-page SEO, including meta tags, headers, internal linking, and image/button alt tags.
- Implement technical SEO recommendations in collaboration with web developers.
- Monitor and improve site performance, page experience, page speed to align with SEO goals.
- Execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with SEO best practices and business goals.
- Conduct keyword research to identify content opportunities and prioritise topics with high potential.
- Track content performance using tools including, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush and Brightedge.
- Generate weekly reports on KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and page experience.
- Create high-quality, engaging, and shareable content, including blogs, landing pages, and multimedia assets.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand voice and SEO guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits of competitor websites to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Stay updated on SEO and content marketing trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools.
- Work closely with social media, performance, and external PR teams to ensure a cohesive digital marketing strategy that leverages SEO and collective efforts to reach audiences effectively.
Our wishlist of your previous experience:
- You're a creative and analytical thinker, with in-depth knowledge of content marketing and SEO.
- You have a strong understanding of on-page and technical SEO plus the impacts of algorithm updates, ranking factors, and keyword strategies.
- You can analyse and investigate SEO performance, identify issues, and create actions.
- You're an outstanding copywriter who doesn't need to rely on AI and can comfortably adapt to a brand's tone of voice.
- Proficiency in:
- SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Brightedge, Ahrefs).
- Content Management Systems (e.g. Magnolia, Contentful, Wix).
- Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva).
- Experience in managing different types of marketing agencies (e.g. PR, Content, SEO, Development).
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
- experience in SEO-focused content management.
