Salary: £26786.83 to £29197.80 per year pro rata
Working Pattern: 8 Hours per week, Wednesday 9:45am - 2:45pm & Thursday 9:45am - 12:45pm
Location: Buckhaven Community Education Centre

Job Details
Join our Community Learning & Development team and support the delivery of EasyP programme, helping young people aged 16-18 build confidence, skills and move into positive futures.
What you will do:
- Deliver engaging group sessions and learning activities.
- Build trusted relationships with young people.
- Support confidence, wellbeing and employability skills
- Help young people progress to education, training or work.
- Work with partners to provide joined-up support.
You will bring
- Experience of working with young people.
- Confidence leading groups and engaging young people.
- Strong communication skills.
- A positive, supportive and inclusive approach.
The Person
- Significant experience in a youth work setting.
- SVQ 2 or 3 in Youth Work/PDA is desirable
- Experience of developing learning and education programmes with young people. (deliver results - See 'How We Work Matters' framework)
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to plan a programme around their needs.
- Group facilitation skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations.
- Ability to motivate young people and encourage participation.
- Ability to provide a regular and effective service.
- Ability to travel within Fife if required.
- Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain a Level 2 disclosure with PVG
