Location: Lambeth, Surrey, SE24 0PZ
Salary: £49,000 - £53,000 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: 40 hours per week

As the Senior Workshop Supervisor in our Enabling Services team, you'll lead day-to-day workshop operations to keep our fleet safe, efficient, and available - so colleagues can deliver essential services that positively impact communities.

What you'll do as a Workshop Supervisor
You'll be entrusted to:
- Lead the daily operation of the vehicle workshop, allocating workload and ensuring compliance with Operator Licence obligations.
- Maintain, service, and manage the vehicle fleet in line with OEM guidelines, internal maintenance standards, and legal requirements.
- Manage vehicle maintenance quality, costs, and third party providers to secure value for money and high quality outcomes.
- Monitor and improve workshop efficiency, championing continuous improvement and innovation across the team.
- Support fleet availability targets, procurement activity, safety initiatives, and training needs across the workshop team.
Does this sound like you?
You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Industry recognised qualifications such as City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- A solid understanding of UK and EU road transport legislation, including Goods MOT requirements and Construction and Use regulations.
- Experience as a Workshop Supervisor, ideally within the Waste and Recycling sector.
- Knowledge of municipal and specialist vehicles, including hydraulics and electric powered vehicles.
- A Cat C driving licence and Driver CPC (DQC).

As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
