Skills

Essential criteria

  • Highly analytical, numerate and competent with statistics packages. Responsible for providing training when required.
  • Identify and analyse workforce information.
  • Line manage staff including day to day management and supervision, prioritisation and allocation of work, objective setting, performance management, appraisals, sickness absence and professional development.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Support the activities of projects, project boards and project teams, where required, to deliver in line with agreed standards and timescales.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of data collection, analysis and report presentation. Including pre-empt, problem solving skills, evaluate issues and offer recommendations.
  • Experience of devising and delivering training programmes in own area of expertise.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential criteria

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Previous experience of working in a team that supports workforce information/analytics queries.
  • Knowledge of data protection (GDPR) and data quality issues.
  • Identify, analyse and resolve queries or problems relating workforce information and analysis.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of leading, supervising and training a team.
  • Experience of working within a project environment, including planning and delivery of activities.
