History

LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event 'Invitational Series.' 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucía to Singapore, as well as launch the game's first Team franchises, captained by some of golf's most decorated superstars.

The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.

The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.

In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game's first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective

• Reporting into the VP, Workflow & Strategy, the Senior Workflow Executive is responsible for implementing and managing processes and functions to ease the communication and productivity of Event Delivery Teams within LIV Golf

Responsibilities

• Assist the VP, Workflow & Strategy with process and relationship management with the event delivery projects key stakeholders
• A key player in supporting the planning, organization, and delivery of events within the LIV Golf portfolio
• Work with the full events deliver team and event management companies to take responsibility for the collection and curation of key event milestone documents, and management of progress tracking software
• Facilitates team meetings, and manage the creation of agenda points and action items where necessary
• Work with the team to identify and mitigate issues and risks, and report to VP, of Workflow & Strategy to maintain maximum transparency throughout the organisation
• Manage the larger team to help organise, store and share files both internally and externally
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Develop strong working relationships with professional counterparts in Event Management Groups to standardise processes
• Provide support if/when needed to the ticketing and accreditation teams to collect, manage, and distribute V.I.P. and guest information to the relevant parties
• Manage the event team travel calendar
• Manage the creation of the event progress dashboard for reporting key information
• Work closely with the tournament admin and logistics team to
  • Maintain uniform and apparel inventory lists
  • Assist in the organisation and distribution of uniform onsite at events
  • Execute the registration of players, caddies and ProAm guest at event
  • Plan the operational running of player and ProAm registration Work with VP, Guest Services to create schedules and resource plans for the successful operation of the registration processes for all events

Experience

• Minimum 1 year golf tournament planning experience
• Competent in Office 365 suite
• Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to lead process improvement
• Strong people skills
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbally, including the ability to communicate confidently and professionally across all levels of the business
