We have two exciting opportunities to join our dynamic team at Royal London where we are committed to creating compelling digital customer experiences and driving digital marketing transformation.
As the Senior Web Channel Manager, you will be the product owner of our website, leading the digital experience solutions strategy, plans, and ongoing optimisation to deliver customer and business outcomes. You will drive digital maturity and deliver an ongoing program of change in collaboration with various teams across Brand and Marketing and the group. We have two roles, one with a customer and one with a B2B focus.
The Senior Web Channel Manager will lead a team to define and deliver a roadmap of changes in collaboration with brand and marketing and other key stakeholders across the business. We are looking for a candidate with extensive experience in driving change, developing strategy and enhancing customer experience and journeys across a websites. This role requires an inspiring strategic and digital thought-leader and change-maker who can translate our Brand & Marketing objectives into a program of work that supports our digital transformation agenda.
About the role
In this role you will:
- Lead the strategy for Royallondon.com (customer) or our Adviser and Employer websites (B2B). ensuring the websites support brand and marketing strategy and trading objectives.
- Take a data-led approach and consultative approach to deliver a customer experience and optimisation led strategy aligned to group objectives.
- Drive digital maturity through thought leadership and digital experience solutions we support the wider teams in alignment with our group priorities.
- Improve the digital experience, performance and customer outcomes through ongoing optimisation and a test-and-learn approach.
- Drive collaboration across business areas to lead digital experiences solution on digital campaigns at every stage of its process, from conception, requirement gathering, build, to ongoing effectiveness testing and collaborate with internal and external teams to amplify performance in line with our B&M and group strategy.
- Lead business and back-log prioritisation for Digital Marketing in line with our strategic outcomes.
- Motivate your team to coordinating and represent Digital Marketing team as the centre of excellence for digital experiences to enhance customer outcomes.
- Support the evolution and input to the development of digital marketing strategy and operating model.
About you

- Strong understanding of supporting digital experience programs
- Deep experience and understanding of the Digital Marketing channels
- Experience of delivering change and digital experience solutions across all areas of the process.
- Strong understanding of digital customer experiences and design principles
- Good understanding of analytics, digital and Martech platforms (GA4, CMS, CMP)
- Good understanding web optimisation and best practices
- Strong analytical skills and consideration for all aspects that influence Brand and Marketing customer outcomes and experiences
