As the Senior Web and Graphic Designer, you will lead the design team with support from the Marketing Manager. This will involve inspiring, guiding and mentoring the rest of the design team, imparting your knowledge and expertise to assist in their career development and ensure that all projects are delivered to an exceptional standard.

You will be responsible for the implementation of original graphic design projects across Liquidline's core brands, from original concept through to delivery. To include, but not limited to, the Liquidline UK and IE brands, Café Bonté, Café Subito, Hub Coffee, internal branding and more.

Working closely with the marketing team and other internal stakeholders to interpret briefs and apply creative flair to marketing assets across both printed and digital media. Delivering projects to deadline and specification, prioritising projects accordingly and communicating effectively throughout.

You will support the Marketing Manager as the guardian of the Liquidline visual brand, assisting in the development of quality marketing materials that reflect the goals and values of the business. You will drive and shape the visual aspects of our core marketing materials including our websites, brochures and leaflets, reports and case studies, packaging, presentations, social media assets, emailers and more.

Visual designs will deliver WOW by inspiring and attracting our target audience and deliver on the objectives of each campaign. Each project will be delivered to the highest standard, adhering to industry best practice, with a high attention to detail. Core to this role is a creative outlook, and a high attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of the visual marketing strategy.

The Role - Senior Web and Graphic Designer

  • Develop and refine the Liquidline visual brand to reflect the goals of the business and ensure the guidelines are always followed.
  • Study design briefs to determine the requirements, then conceptualise visuals using Adobe Creative Suite based on the requirements.
  • Work alongside the Content Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager and the rest of the design team to produce online and offline resources that are both informative and eye-catching.
  • Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Executive and IT Development team to improve the UX on our suite of websites and digital tools. Including responsive and mobile web design using Adobe XD.
  • Support the digital marketing team with the design of various online assets including landing pages, social media graphics and emails.
  • Support the purchasing team in the design and development of packaging for our in-house machines and consumables.
  • To implement design amends promptly and concisely.
  • Assist in the capturing and editing of photo and video media.
  • Assist in the management of third party resources when required, such as photographers, video production companies, animators, CAD designers etc.
  • To manage the creative print output of the business. Working closely with our print partners to deliver printed marketing solutions for the wider team. Ensuring budgets are adhered to and materials align with our sustainability policy where possible.
  • Leading the design team - delegating tasks, checking work, inspiring and supporting the design team.

What You Will Need in the role of Senior Web and Graphic Designer

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in graphic design.
  • 3+ year's experience in a senior design role and 5+ year's experience in graphic design.
  • Excellent working knowledge of of Adobe's Creative Suite in particular Photoshop, XD and Indesign,
  • A creative flair with the ability to define requirements, visualise and conceptualise briefs.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently, effectively prioritise and organise design files so they can be easily found and updated by colleagues.
  • An excellent eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Fantastic communication skills.
  • A can-do attitude with a desire for learning and growth.
  • Ability to inspire and mentor junior team members.
