Position

We are looking for two Senior Waking Night SEN Care Support to work with and support our Waking night support team.

To line manage a team of Waking Night Support Workers across campus providing care for our students within the college. You will work in conjunction with another Waking Night Senior SEN Support worker post holder to ensure 7 nights are covered each week, term time only. This role will be on either a three or fours night consecutive contract. You will should develop the team ensuring they are delivering a high level of care and support whilst maintaining safety standards at all times in line with Henshaws policies. This role includes covering staff breaks and addressing any emergencies or issues that arise during the night.

Salary: £14.14 per hour weekdays/£15.64 per hour weekends

Hours/Nights: Three or four nights per week

Weeks: 38

Holiday: 6.78

Closing Date: 14th July 2024 - 12 noon

Requirements

Willingness to support students with any personal care requirements as needed, in a way that promotes their dignity and wellbeing.

Experience of mentoring/inducting/line managing Care staff in their roles

Hold Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and willing to complete diploma level 3 in Health & Social Care within 2 years of employment
