Senior Vice President, Marketing (Europe & Rest of World)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Marketing to head up our integrated marketing strategy for Europe and the Rest of the World at Ooni. We realise that sounds huge; we have recently adopted a regional operating model which separates North America into its own operating structure, so you can take one (1) continent off your 'To Do List'.
This is a super important role for us with endless scope to really influence Ooni's success. You'll be tasked with designing and coordinating the implementation of high-impact, cross-channel marketing campaigns, working closely with global and regional teams to drive brand growth, customer acquisition and retention. You'll be passionate about creating exceptional consumer experiences across channels, with a strong emphasis on digital and direct-to-consumer (DTC) applications.
This role reports directly to the regional President and is one of the most senior marketing roles in the organisation. As a result, we're looking for a stellar candidate with meaningful expertise in multi-channel marketing across European markets, particularly in core regions such as the UK, Germany, and France. This is a unique opportunity for an inspiring, compassionate and ambitious leader to drive Ooni's regional growth and brand across diverse and exciting markets.
While this role has global responsibilities we're prioritising candidates who can be based out of our HQ in Edinburgh, Scotland (while understanding there will be some travel involved). We operate a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days per week spent in office in order to maximise our opportunities to connect and collaborate, as well as to best engage with your teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement an innovative multi-channel marketing strategy for Europe and RoW, aligning with our global brand strategy.
- Maintain a laser focus on our digital and DTC initiatives with the goal of improving customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
- Leverage data and consumer insights to identify market opportunities, shape strategic campaigns, and ensure regional relevance.
Digital & DTC Marketing
- Foster innovation in digital marketing, ensuring advanced performance marketing, CRM, and personalisation strategies.
- Pilot our DTC campaigns, focusing on scaling e-commerce and optimising customer journeys across sales platforms.
- Implement cutting-edge tools and technologies to enhance digital marketing performance and analytics.
Performance & Analytics
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, ensuring accountability for ROI and business impact.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to track performance, leveraging insights to continually refine strategies.
Brand Marketing
- Drive brand positioning and storytelling across Europe, ensuring a consistent yet tailored approach to resonate with local audiences.
- Oversee the planning and execution of large-scale, collaborative campaigns across digital, social media, retail, and experiential platforms.
- Ensure all initiatives are culturally attuned and aligned with European consumer trends, with a focus on priority and growth markets including UK, Germany, France, Nordics & Australia & NZ.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Coach, motivate and manage a high-performing marketing team across multiple regions, gaining their commitment, engagement and driving accountability.
- Partner with key stakeholders, including product development, sales and other global teams to align marketing goals with business priorities, identify interdependencies and act upon opportunities to learn from each other by sharing relevant insights.
- Serve as the regional expert on consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive trends in Europe and RoW. Again, focused on priority and growth markets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in a senior marketing leadership role, with a focus on consumer product marketing across multi-channel environments.
- Expertise in digital and DTC marketing, with demonstrable success creating growth through performance marketing and e-commerce strategies.
- Significant experience in European markets, including the UK, Germany and France as must-haves.
- Deep understanding of European consumer behaviors, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
- Strong data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a history of building and managing distributed high-performing teams with sensitivity to different cultural norms and expectations.
