Salary up to £70,000 DOE Plus up to £5000 Relaction Allowance
White Cross Vets have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a permanent basis. This role is based at our new purpose-built practice in Sale. If you have a particular interest, we will always try to tailor your days to what you enjoy the most!

Our standard full-time pattern is 40 hours per week. The practice is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 7.00pm. We are currently, temporarily closed on a Saturday, until further notice. There is no OOH requirement.

Sale is a new, purpose-built practice with great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, isolation ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and brand-new laparoscopic equipment. We are also a training practice and so would encourage anyone who has a desire to become a clinical coach.
We have achieved the IVC Evidensia patient safety award, we are an ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic and one of our nursing team has a keen interest in behaviour and has undergone further training, so we are keen to develop this service at clinic level.

The team at Sale are extremely hard-working but we also love to have a laugh whilst we work. We have regular funded team days out doing activities such as escape rooms, kayaking, axe throwing and crazy golf to name just a few! We also hold monthly wellbeing afternoons where we have watched movies, a Mario Kart tournament, yoga session, a baby shower and played various board and card games. We are a clinically progressive practice who hold monthly team meetings and encourage input from all team members, we take into consideration any suggestions that are put forward.
