As a result of this proposition we're seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join us on this journey.

Role description

Allianz has an ambition to expand its London Market Real Estate Multinational MidCorp offering to satisfy and support the increasing demand from the expanding international client base and their cross border needs.

To support this, you will join our newly formed Multinational Specialist Team

The team will be responsible for the performance of the AZUK direct book of business, whilst also supporting and servicing the needs of the Allianz network for their International clients.

This role will play a key part in the continued development of our offering to our clients, including driving and building key relationships across our market as we look to satisfy our clients' needs and grow the account.

It will require strong technical underwriting knowledge in the London Market Real Estate business, as you will be responsible for underwriting key accounts, driving intelligent new business growth and acting as an authority holder within the business.

About you

• Outstanding technical underwriting skills in London market real estate
• Exposure to writing Multinational business and an understanding of its key principles is desirable
• Excellent trading skills and a confident negotiator. Proven experience in handling large cases
• A strong ability to build, develop and maintain broker relationships
• Achievement orientated, able to organise own workload to meet tight deadlines and with a positive attitude
• A good team player. Supportive to others with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Confident and engaging communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence others
• ACII qualified or progression towards
• Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
