Senior UK Pensions Implementation Expert

We are establishing a dedicated UK product team to bring Festina Life and Pension to new clients across the UK pensions market. As a core member of a small, agile team, you will help shape our presence in the UK market while partnering closely with colleagues in Denmark. This role combines client-facing solutions work with hands-on configuration and modelling, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, pensions domain expertise, technology and delivery.
Job Description

In this role, you'll work end-to-end on international implementation projects, with a strong focus on configuring Festina Life and Pension to meet complex client requirements. You'll start by contributing to projects in Denmark and the Netherlands to gain hands-on product experience, then help drive new UK implementations. Your responsibilities will include translating business needs into robust configurations and models, ensuring each setup is optimised for long-term success.

Alongside implementation work, you'll also support presales activities-participating in Proofs of Concept (PoC), Requests for Consultation/Change (RFC), and early-stage design discussions with prospective clients. You'll collaborate closely with client stakeholders and our Denmark-based teams while our Manchester office is being established. This position offers flexibility to begin remotely and transition to a hybrid setup, as well as autonomy to own your workstream, coordinate with the UK Country Head and Danish HQ, and refine our approach to winning and starting projects in the UK.
What you will work on

• Configuring and implementing life events and benefit structures in the system
• Taking part in design discussions with clients and internal teams to shape solution architecture
• Analysing and modelling UK pension schemes to meet complex regulatory requirements
• Participating PoC and RFC processes, ensuring accurate translation of client needs into system configuration

Candidate requirements

• Solid knowledge of the UK pensions market and regulatory landscape
• Extensive hands-on experience with UK pension products and scheme design
• Structured, self-driven, and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Relevant academic background

• Office: Manchester City Centre (currently being established)
