We require a Senior Training Manager to manage the planning, development and delivery of training for an internationally renowned education organisation as part of a large global Digital Transformation Project that will transform the education and assessment experience of students in approximately 3,500 schools worldwide.
This Senior Training Manager role has been identified as a critical role in a large Digital Transformation project to take responsibility for defining and managing how we will train a large Assessment Client organisation to ensure that they are prepared with the knowledge and skills to support their digital transformation. It is a high-profile customer facing role requiring the skills to understand complex software products, a large academic education organisation and a complex digital transformation programme to plan and manage an appropriate training programme to support the programme aims.
Our client is an academic education organisation and many of our key stakeholders come from teaching and training backgrounds. A solid understanding and appreciation of training pedagogy is required and experience of working on digital transformation projects with comparable organisations in an academic or related domain.
Responsibilities
- Working with our client organisation to define, plan and manage the delivery of a structured programme of training for the range of roles within their organisation aligned to their Digital Transformation programme.
- Detailed planning of structured training to be delivered by our Product Trainers aligned to the Digital Transformation Project.
- Working with internal teams and the client's Digital Transformation team to ensure that training evolves as our software product functionality and the transformation project develop to continue to meet the needs of the client organisation.
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on the development and delivery of training to support governance of the Digital Transformation Programme.
- Scheduling of your time to meet agreed programme activities
- Client and internal engagement to support understanding training requirements and developing a structured training programme
- Scheduling of training events and customer training.
- Leads on planning and designing a structured client focused training programme
- Influences other elements of our wider training proposition including on innovative approaches to delivering training.
Experience
- Experience of planning and designing training programmes for large client organisations including a good understanding of pedagogy and how to differentiate to learners.
- Experience of delivering Digital Transformation programmes in an academic education or similar context
- Experience of working with complex client organisations to understand the needs of different stakeholder groups
- Experience of working in a cloud-based software product environment
- Ability to understand complex technical functionality and processes to build a coherent structured training programme with measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
- Ability to adapt style, language and communication methods to the needs of different stakeholder groups
- Ability to develop strong positive working relationships with internal and external client stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Assessment domain would be advantageous.
