QUALIFICATIONS

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a healthcare related subject

Desirable criteria

  • Evidence of achievement of relevant work-based training modules i.e. moving and handling, dementia awareness, food hygiene

EXPERIENCE

Essential criteria

  • Able to demonstrate recent achievement of Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy (or both/generic) assistant competencies
  • Evidence of recent Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy assistant experience in the UK

Desirable criteria

  • Previous NHS experience in a therapy role

Skills, knowledge and ability

Essential criteria

  • Able to demonstrate basic knowledge of common vascular conditions and impact on function

Desirable criteria

  • Valid driving licence, or means or travelling independently in the community
