An exciting opportunity has become available to work within the Medical Therapy team at Basildon Hospital.

Working alongside the Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists you will be responsible for progressing patients mobility as well as undertaking exercises programmes and occupational therapy specific treatment programmes.

Main duties of the job
The role involves working across the acute in patient wards at Basildon Hospital.
Working alongside therapy staff you will liaise with the multi-disciplinary team attending board rounds and independently undertake the therapy treatment of appropriate patients as decided by the therapists on the wards.

- working in a clinical role delivering treatment and care to patients on a day to day basis.

- Good level of general education i.e. GCSE's or equivalent
Experience

- Experience working in Acute Healthcare setting

- Supporting information shows knowledge of equipment used by physiotherapists and occupational therapists
