Person specification

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential criteria

• NVQ Level 3 in care or equivalent
• Evidence of completion of Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Assistant competencies

Desirable criteria

• Certificate in food hygiene

EXPERIENCE

Essential criteria

• Able to demonstrate recent experience as a Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Assistant

Desirable criteria

• Previous experience of working within the acute setting

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Essential criteria

• Good problem solving skills
• Extensive experience/knowledge of specific patient conditions and therapeutic interventions
• Understanding of own boundaries and know when to report to supervising therapist

Desirable criteria

• Leadership skills within context of work place and team
