We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Test Analyst to join our team at Royal London. As a Senior Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software solutions. You will be responsible for conducting thorough testing and analysis to identify any issues and ensure that the software meets the necessary standards.
You will evaluate automated data engineering solutions that improve efficiency and reduce the amount of manual effort required in data processing. This contributes to the Group by improving the speed, accuracy, consistency, repeatability, and overall quality of data processing.
About the role
- Collaborate with the development team to design and execute robust test cases and scenarios.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing to identify defects and analyse their root causes.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts and frameworks.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that fixes and enhancements do not impact existing functionality.
- Create comprehensive test plans and reports to document testing procedures and results.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that testing aligns with business objectives.
- Participate in the design and implementation of software quality assurance methodologies and processes.
About you
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Experience with test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team.
