Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Terrain Environment Artist to join our team in creating captivating and immersive worlds for our upcoming game. This position reports to the Associate Lead Artist

What will you do?

  • Lead by example through team collaboration and achieving top-notch quality standard
  • Creating and modifying in-game landscape assets within a given timeframe and budget.
  • Prototyping and building white-box levels with Level Designers and Art Director to help establish visuals and landmarks.
  • Set-dressing and integration of assets into the game levels of Unreal Engine.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven work history in games industry in an Environment Art role, with at least 1 shipped title.
  • Excellent knowledge of terrain generation software (Gaea, World Machine or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of modeling, sculpting, and texturing software (Maya, ZBrush, Substance Suite or similar).
  • Familiarity with the entire game landscape creation pipeline, (ideally from pre-production through to live-service-updates).
  • Proactive help with evaluating and solving performance issues

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Environment concept art examples.
  • Demonstrative observational skills.
  • Knowledge of PBR material principles and procedural techniques for content creation and placement.
  • Experience with project version control software. (Perforce, Git, or similar).
