Based in Islington, London

We are now recruiting a Senior Technology Product Manager (CRM) - a pivotal role at the heart of our technology operations, responsible for driving strategy and delivering excellence in how Greenpeace uses digital platforms to empower campaigns, fundraising, and supporter engagement.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Technology Product Manager, you will lead the strategic management of Greenpeace UK's enterprise technology platforms - with particular responsibility for our Salesforce CRM ecosystem. You'll balance strategy, delivery, and governance to ensure our technology infrastructure enables our teams to scale impact, connect with supporters, and maintain the highest standards of data ethics and security.

Your mission will be to design and deliver technology that works seamlessly across departments, helping fundraisers, campaigners, and organisers harness data-driven tools to achieve meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Owning the long-term strategy for Salesforce (CRM, Pardot, NPSP and Experience Cloud) and aligning its direction with Greenpeace's mission and supporter engagement goals.
  • Managing platform roadmaps, balancing immediate priorities with longer-term sustainability and innovation.
  • Leading agile technology projects from conception to launch, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to evolve our CRM systems in line with organisational needs.
  • Providing business analysis, translating user needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Maintaining best-in-class data governance, ensuring GDPR compliance and supporting a privacy-first culture.
  • Partnering with the Head of Data and Data Engineer to ensure our CRM and data warehouse architecture work hand-in-hand.
  • Managing and developing a small technical team, fostering cross-departmental technology literacy and ownership.
  • Acting as a key voice for ethical, sustainable technology within Greenpeace UK.

If you're a collaborative, strategic technologist who thrives at the intersection of systems, people, and impact, this is your chance to lead meaningful digital transformation in one of the world's most iconic environmental organisations.

Key criteria for success:

  • Technology product management experience with responsibility for CRM or engagement platforms, preferably in nonprofit, membership, or mission-driven organisations.
  • Expertise in enterprise-grade CRM platforms (specifically Salesforce, inc Pardot/Marketing Cloud and Experience Cloud) and an understanding of how these integrate into a broader technical stack.
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis skills with experience translating user needs into technical specifications and managing stakeholder expectations
  • Agile project management experience with demonstrated ability to lead technology implementations using agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
  • Stakeholder management experience with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical users, building consensus around technology decisions
  • Integration and API experience with an understanding of how CRM platforms connect with other organisational systems and tools.
  • Change management experience with skills in leading organisational technology adoption and training programs.

Greenpeace is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.

As part of our commitment to increasing representation of people from underrepresented communities in the environmental sector, we are piloting a Guaranteed Interview Scheme (GIS) as a new approach to make our recruitment more equitable. If you identify as a person of colour, you can choose to opt in to the Guaranteed Interview Scheme.

We will be aiming to offer everyone who opts into the scheme and meets the essential criteria a first stage interview. While we fully intend to honour this, exceptionally high application volumes may affect our capacity. If so, we will communicate clearly and keep candidates informed as we continue to learn and improve.

If you believe technology should serve both people and planet, and you're excited about leading CRM innovation at the heart of a mission-driven organisation - we'd love to hear from you.
