Locogen are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager with strong digital experience to join our growing renewable energy company.

Locogen's vision is a world powered 100% by renewables; where everyone has access to affordable, sustainable energy and clean air. We're multidisciplinary; offering our clients consultancy, design, development, build and management of renewable and low carbon assets.

We have grown significantly over the last few years, both in the size of our team and the scale and scope of the projects we engage in. Our work is innovative and varied including utility scale projects, industrial behind-the-meter systems and community scale schemes. We cover Wind, Solar PV, Renewable Heat, Battery Storage (BESS) and Hydrogen.

We have big ambitions for the next few years, and we need a Marketing Manager to help us achieve them.

Some of the things you will be doing:

  • Working closely with our Commercial Director, Sales and Marketing team and Heads of Department to create and execute our marketing strategy for the business as a whole and marketing plans for each of our service areas.
  • Owning our marketing budget and drive return on marketing investment for all our campaigns and activity.
  • Creating, designing, copywriting and delivering content.
  • Publishing content on different mediums, in line with strategy, including our website (CMS and CRM hosted pages), video platforms, LinkedIn, partner / affiliate sites and email etc.
  • Generating and leading our digital marketing campaigns.
  • Generating and leading our relationship marketing.
  • Collaborating with our sales team to design and launch effective lead generation campaigns that drive impact to revenue KPIs across the marketing and sales funnel.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to identify and create new marketing initiatives.
  • Briefing and managing delivery from our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of our event strategy and campaigns.
  • Monitoring and performance analysis, including implementing changes and adaptions.
  • Managing and training our small marketing team.
  • Writing press releases and responding to press enquiries.

We are looking for?:

  • An experienced marketeer who can do all things digital well - i.e. email marketing, content and social marketing, display / PPC ad strategy, Google Analytics etc.
  • Strong copywriting ability and a creative eye.
  • Experience with web analytics, CRMs, and marketing automation packages are essential. We don't mind which packages you use because you can learn these: the main packages we use are: Google Analytics, HubSpot (CRM, marketing toolkit and sales toolkit), LinkedIn, SurveyMonkey, InDesign and Canva.
  • Good understanding of analytics; ability to design tests (A/B) and interrogate results.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of performance metrics.
  • Event management experience.

It would be an advantage if you have:

  • A marketing background within a fast-growing SME, ideally offering a range of technical services.
  • Experience of establishing HubSpot marketing tool.
  • Thought leadership and white paper experience.
  • Experience dealing with press enquiries and press releases.
