Senior Technical Advisor - Cyber Security - Telco

£85k Subject to Experience

Hybrid Role - UK

Are you a Technical InfoSec professional? Do you have an in-depth knowledge of the Telco industry and the desire to get your teeth stuck into something new, something exciting, something that will make you the best in class, an SME within the ever-evolving Telco industry?

This role will make you 1 of a handful of professionals taking on the role to support the rollout, implementation, management, and monitoring of the new legislation.

This puts you at the very forefront of the new era of Telco legislation.

The Role of the Senior Technical Advisor:

  • Using your technical insight, you'll take a holistic view of each regulated company to help assess, advise, implement security, operations, processes and procedures to ensure that their approach to our clients new security requirements is both robust and measurable.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, stakeholders, government officials to ensure policy requirements are aligned and implemented with continuity.

Skills / Experience in some or all of the following

  • Virtualisation of telecoms networks functions
  • Telecoms signaling systems and monitoring/defensive arrangements
  • Secure architectural design and deployment.
  • Management of cryptographic material in telecoms networks including key derivation, management, revocation, distributions and hardware roots of trusts. Not limited to sim/esim.
  • Supply chain management and - third-party or managed services access and security
  • Sound understanding of network separation and high-assurance systems management.
  • User identity management
  • A track record of evaluating technical vulnerabilities and identifying suitable controls.
  • Knowledge of and experience implementing and auditing against information security frameworks and standards such as the NIS Directive
