Job Description
Are you ready to lead strategic tax initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We're looking for a Senior Tax Manager, Real Estate to join our Group Tax team on an 18 month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our Real Estate business within Private Markets, providing expert tax guidance and oversight across a diverse property portfolio.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading tax advisory and compliance support across our Private Markets property portfolio
- Partnering with Real Estate teams to provide practical tax guidance on transactions and operations
- Overseeing tax risk management from fund structuring to investment exit
- Managing and mentoring a team of Property Tax Managers to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Aligning tax approaches across Group Tax and supporting new product launches
- Enhancing tax governance frameworks and driving process improvements
- Liaising with external advisors and industry bodies to represent our property tax interests
- Supporting cross-divisional tax coordination and regulatory reporting
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
- Professionally qualified in Accounting (e.g. ACA, ACCA) and/or Tax (e.g. CTA)
- Significant post-qualification experience in real estate tax within a large corporate or practice
- Strong understanding of UK and European property funds and tax structures
- Proven ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to non-specialists
- Experience managing tax aspects of property transactions and fund operations
- Skilled in team leadership, coaching, and workload prioritisation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Adaptable, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement
