Role Purpose

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is accountable to deliver end to end recruitment related activity across the business, working in collaboration with In-Country Talent Acquisition partners across the region, along with the Head of TA UK to ensure recruiting requirements are supported in a efficient manor in all of our markets, while ensuring we deliver high-quality results. The preferred location is Glasgow however we will consider other locations.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a trusted advisor to the business, embedding recruitment best practice and legislations. Exercising sound judgement as a TA professional to deliver excellent service to our candidates and Hiring Managers.

Building a strong understanding of current and future talent requirements, the Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist provides high quality market insights through a combination of networking, research and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for recruitment activity for IA&R in EMEA, understanding Business Line requirements to deliver recruitment plans to hire key talent into critical role
  • Defines, develops, plans & implements recruitment and attraction strategies including DE&I initiatives to drive talent engagement to attract and recruit the best talent into CBRE
  • Develops strategic programs and partnerships to actively increase talent pools
  • Strategic recruitment advisor, working collaboratively with People and Business teams to align hiring strategy to source talent against business needs and priorities
  • Manages strategic, high profile, confidential and business critical roles
  • Ensures recruitment requirements are fulfilled building an effective diverse talent pool of potential candidates
  • Actively works with managers to understand internal talent pipeline and promote opportunities across CBRE Business Lines
  • Ensures corporate and legal requirements are met as part of their role and champions the Talent Resourcing Principles
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to the business, developing in-depth knowledge of talent, competitors and recruitment markets
  • Promotes CBRE employer brand initiatives to attract diverse talent, actively participating across the TA team ensuring best practice is shared and implemented
  • Inputs into and develops Workforce Plans against current and future hiring demands across areas of responsibility
  • Provides weekly and monthly TA activity reports
  • Consults with stakeholders on TA metrics providing relevant talent and market insights
  • Manages 3rd party TA suppliers
  • Ensures reduced and effective external agency usage across Business Lines

Person Specification/Requirements

  • Able to work in a matrix organisation, prioritising, and effectively communicating with key stakeholders to achieve team goals.
  • Maintain a big picture view across CBRE Business Lines whilst managing effective day to day delivery.
  • Partners and participates actively across the TA team ensuring the sharing and implementation of best practices
  • Inspire confidence and trust as the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Stakeholder and customers engagement at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • High level of networking and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
  • A passion for Diversity Equity and Inclusion in all approaches
  • Proven judgement and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of resourcing technologies and social networking to build diverse candidate / talent pools
  • Consistently through professional behaviours, using judgement, drive and influence
  • EMEA TA experience
  • Understands commercial and financial metrics
