We're seeking a passionate Senior Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager to join our Maidenhead team. Working closely with senior leadership, HR teams, and our national Retailer Network, you'll play a vital role in ensuring we remain a leading, people-focused organisation.
What You'll Do
As a key leader in our team, you will:
- Develop and execute innovative recruitment and retention strategies aligned with business goals.
- Enhance Volvo Cars' employer brand through creative outreach, social media campaigns, and targeted engagement.
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, with a focus on Early Careers programs, apprenticeships, and graduate hiring.
- Reduce turnover, improve engagement, and create a strong culture of inclusion.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to forecast workforce needs and deliver measurable improvements.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and candidate sourcing to onboarding.
- Use data-driven insights to design strategies and achieve key targets, including a 20% reduction in turnover within critical roles in year one.
- Host events, such as school visits and job fairs, to build talent pipelines and promote Volvo Cars as an employer of choice.
- Provide comprehensive Management Information packs with insights and metrics to guide decision-making.
Key Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone with:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CIPD Level 7) are a plus.
- Proven experience in strategic talent acquisition and retention, with a strong focus on diversity and Early Careers.
- Excellent leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in leveraging data, workforce forecasting, and recruitment technologies.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practices in recruitment and retention.
- Flexibility to travel nationwide approximately 30% of the time (a valid driving license is required).
Nice to Have:
Experience in the automotive or retail sectors is advantageous.
