Senior Sustainability Consultant - Supply Chain

Are you interested in helping companies develop their sustainable supply chain strategies and have an interest in ESG advisory and assurance?

Our team of professionals and world-class experts help clients integrate sustainability across their core business operations, and supply chains, acting as a trusted third party delivering a full suite of assurance, enterprise risk management and advisory services.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant with technical skills in one or more of the following areas to join our UK Sustainability and ESG Services, Supply Chain Management Team:

  • Responsible sourcing, supply chain management and sustainable procurement
  • Chain of custody and traceability
  • Net zero value chains and supplier engagement
  • Green claims, backed by Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) defined by the ISO 14040 standard

Good to have:

  • Experience in hard-to-abate sectors, such as metals and mining (steel, aluminium, mining etc.) and helping companies accelerate their just transition
  • Climate change, GHG emissions and carbon accounting and decarbonisation experience with leading reporting and assurance standards

You will also get the opportunity to lead projects in other ESG areas, such as:

  • Climate change/risk consulting
  • Report assurance
  • ESG and sustainability strategy and advisory

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

  • Proven project management skills
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Aptitude to play a leading role in business development related to supply chain sustainability advisory and assurance
  • Demonstrable senior-level experience in corporate ESG/sustainability in one or more of our services outlined above
  • Ability to direct the work of multiple project teams efficiently and effectively
  • Accountability towards business sales development sales targets with demonstrable performance against these
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to be inclusive and be clear and concise
  • Excellent oral and written business English communication skills
  • Proactively seeks to identify real customer needs and manages customer expectations accordingly
  • An understanding of conflicting stakeholder needs and the ability to develop solutions to address these
  • Willingness to travel and work around the UK and overseas
