You will be crucial to the success of our team who provide support to adults with a learning disability within our day service in Bexhill. Your work will have a real and positive impact on the lives of the people who attend the service and in return we can offer you a rewarding and fulfilling career.
As a Senior, you will help timetable activities to promote friendships, teach independence skills and involve people in their local community.
Our team of Support Workers provide a service to clients from 8.30am to 7pm, four days a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays on a rota basis. You will lead tasks for their induction, training, supervision and development to ensure they are meeting the care and support needs of the people attending the service.
As Senior you are involved in:
- Monitoring and role modelling good practice
- Coordinating and planning rotas
- Support planning for the people attending the service
- Managing risk
- Key working
This role is for 30hours per week and so the salary will be paid on a pro rata basis. The actual salary therefore is £23,286 to £23,835 per annum or £14.92 to £15.27 per hour.
In your application and at interview, you will be able to confidently demonstrate:
- Informal care experience
- Organisational skills and time management of self and others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to plan, review and develop packages of support
You will also need to have the following qualifications:
- Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship (or a willingness to complete),
- Level 2 Maths and English or ability to pass an assessment as part of the selection process.

Interviews will take place in person on Friday 19th September 2025 at Beeching Park, Beeching Road, Bexhill, TN39 3LJ. Interviews will include client involvement, a workplace assessment and meeting with managers of the service.
