About the role

The role holder will work as part of the Student Experience Team providing essential support in delivering a programme of student engagement and student voice activities, events and initiatives that are focused on the students experience within our faculty.

The post supports projects such as student representation, coordinating student feedback opportunities, and communications, as well as supporting welcome to King's activity and other engagement opportunities. The role holder will be part of a team that seeks to continuously review and improve approaches and support mechanisms.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.

About you

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate a busy workload while prioritising effectively.

2. Excellent written and verbal communications skills

3. Proactive approach with ability to work independently and flexibly, using own judgement, initiative and discretion where necessary.

4. Ability to contribute effectively as part of a team, with a 'hands on' approach to working.

5. Methodical and thorough approach to work with a good eye for detail.

6. Strong influencing skills, ability to deal with a wide variety of people in a professional and assured manner and to build networks.

7. Excellent IT skills including MS Office, databases, business systems etc

Desirable criteria

1. Experience of managing changes in procedures and processes

2. Experience of organising or managing events

3. Experience of working in a HE institution
