Purpose & Scope of the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, contributing to the design and analysis of structures across a range of materials in line with Eurocodes and British Standards. Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering projects to programme and budget, while maintaining high standards of technical excellence and quality assurance. The role also includes involvement in contract administration, site inspections, and collaborative design development with clients, architects and stakeholders.

Core Capabilities

Technical Expertise

  • Experience in structural design across multiple materials using Eurocodes and British Standards
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles within a consultancy environment

Design & Digital Proficiency

  • Proficient in structural design tools such as TEDDS, Tekla Structural Designer, Robot, SCIA and Revit
  • Confident using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office for design coordination and reporting

Project Delivery & Accountability

  • Ability to manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Takes ownership of work, ensuring accuracy and quality at every stage

Communication & Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients, architects and multidisciplinary teams
  • Collaborative approach across both local and wider national/international teams

Professionalism & Continuous Development

  • Committed to CPD and progressing towards (or holding) Chartered status
  • Promotes high standards of health, safety and technical excellence

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng), with experience in a consultancy environment. Working towards or nearing Chartered Engineer status is preferred. Eligibility for UK security clearance is required.

Working Environment

Based in our London office, the role includes site visits and collaboration across teams, with flexibility to support both project and personal commitments.
