Overview
Expleo have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Expleo offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized
Responsibilities
Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to)
- Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements
- Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts
- Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations
- Writing Analysis reports
- Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements
- Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams
Qualifications
- HNC/HND in mechacnical engineering
- Degree in mechanical engineering
Essential skills
- FEA Modelling
- Abaqus CAE
- MathCAD (beneficial but not essential)
- Microsoft Office Skills
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in stress analysis
- Marine engineering desirable
