Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Stress Engineer, you will join Oxford team to support our activities within the automotive sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Creating and developing stress analysis simulations such as fatigue analysis, modal and frequency response simulations and hand calculations for mechanical components
  • Supporting correlation initiatives through contributions to physical testing, calibration, and validation processes
  • Analysing simulations results to create post processing.
  • Approving calculations, simulations and reports

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience using ALTAIR packages such as; HYPERMESH, HYPERWORKS, OPTISTRUCT, RADIOSS (or LS-Dyna).
  • Experience in conducting Fatigue analysis using FEMFAT or nCode
  • Confident in using hand-calculations
  • Degree in a relevant engineering field
