The opportunity
We are looking for an integrated Senior Strategist with experience working with technology brands.
The focus of the role will be for Samsung UK, for whom we create ATL, social, digital and retail comms and activations (across Mobile devices, TV and Home Appliance), manage digital customer engagement apps and retail staff education platforms, and even develop and launch new store propositions and CSR initiatives.
Across the year, this covers the major flagship smartphone launches, as well as launches across other mobile device and wearable tech categories, such as tablets, watches, ear buds and the new Galaxy Ring.
How you'd spend your day
- As a Senior Strategist you will sit at the heart of the Iris client team, working closely with Client Service and Creative Directors.
- The majority of your role will require you to work as an autonomous strategy leader, with support from a Senior Strategy Director and Junior Strategist where applicable.
- The fundamental requirement is to influence the full strategic process from briefing, research and idea development to creative execution.
- You will commission and conduct research where necessary and interrogate and analyse platform and market data to set KPIs, assess effectiveness and drive performance.
- You'll work closely with creative teams, strategists from specific disciplines (data, social, etc.), creative technologists, specialist content creators and digital experience designers.
What we're looking for:
- Reporting to a Senior Strategy Director you'll drive the strategy agenda within your account teams and provide guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.
- You'll be keen to make your mark and want to contribute to the broader profile of strategy in the agency - both internally and externally - contributing to team meetings, agency thought leadership, IP and events.
- You'll be keen to get involved in the New Business opportunities, either in support of our Strategy leadership, or leading smaller pitches with guidance from them.
- A team-focused self starter, you'll enjoy getting stuck in and possess a degree of pragmatism and practicality which is an inevitable requirement of a truly integrated agency.
