Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, Amazon Devices

As Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager you will be external face of the Amazon Devices organisation, owning and setting the strategy for our Devices business in the Offline Retail channel. You will have autonomy to own and build retail partnerships, be responsible managing our strategic retailers in the UK, with sales and commercial ownership for our 4 key product categories.

Combining strategy, planning, P&L management, as well as day-to-day execution, you will be part of the commercial team and work closely with Channel Marketing, Go to Market, Sales Operations, the executive teams and our reseller counterparts across these disciplines. You will define and implement plans to best serve new and existing customers, as well as exceed financial objectives.

A successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop deep and integrated partnerships to unlock and maximise Amazon Devices growth. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally, is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter. You should be comfortable operating autonomously with ambiguity.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement Amazon Devices strategy in the UK for our most important retailers.
- Foster greater collaboration with existing strategic partners and identifying new retail sales opportunities and initiatives, working in tandem with our channel marketing team across both in-store and online merchandising.
- Negotiate commercial Terms and Conditions with new and existing customers, seeking win-win solutions for both Amazon and retailers.
- Develop & execute joint business plans, prepare & organize regular business reviews, and work on long-term initiatives with retailers.
- Coordinate new product launches - this includes influencing launch timelines based upon channel restrictions, as well as ensuring go-to-market activities are executed flawlessly.
- Present and sell Amazon devices externally to the most senior executive audiences with an excellent understanding of product features and benefits as well as retailer needs.
- Continually assess business needs, driving changes and process improvement whilst advising leadership team.
- Work on long-term strategic initiatives, help to define channel strategy for key product lines, and partner with internal business leaders to define future playbooks.

A day in the life
No two days will ever be the same in this role. You will represent Amazon Devices externally across multiple Product Lines, working directly with our retailers at multiple levels as well as on internal projects. You will ensure day-to-day plans are developed and delivered, whilst working behind the scenes to solve problems and develop long-term strategies.

You will become an expert on Offline Retail, acting as the voice of UK customers, and working closely with Product Line teams, Channel Marketing, and Go to Market to identify the most effective ways of bringing our devices to life for customers with latest technologies and AI developments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Several years of professional experience in Sales/Account Management/Vendor Management or similar function
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in commercial negotiations
- Proven analytical skills and excellent business judgement
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in Consumer Electronics or other fast-paced product environment.
- Proven ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment, and influence the agenda of multiple internal teams to support the successful execution of plans
- Decisive and ability to move with speed to implement ideas
