Senior Stakeholder Relations Manager, Climate Week NYC

This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

Summary

We're looking for a talented Senior Stakeholder Manager to support our work at Climate Week NYC alongside our integrated international Communications team.

Climate Week NYC is the biggest climate event of its kind, driving climate action by those at the very top of business and politics, but also by communities, artists and activists. This year we are bringing them together with the one overarching message of: It's Time.

This is a brand-new opportunity for an energetic, personable and enthusiastic individual who has experience working with senior stakeholders to establish strong and lasting relationships. As Senior Stakeholder Manager, you'll help us manage the huge global interest in Climate Week NYC from leading figures in business, government and the climate movement.

Your efforts will support the organisation's wider operation; to drive climate action, fast. You will help us drive progress and creating opportunities with longevity beyond Climate Week NYC, including the targeting of those who we want to help make greater commitments to climate action. We are looking for a senior experienced professional who can be self-sufficient and play a supportive role to other teams and existing processes.

About Climate Group

Climate Group is an international organisation, and we want to reflect that in our staff. People who work for us, and people who apply, need to feel heard, safe, and included. That is why we are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion throughout our application process and in our offices. We welcome applicants that are diverse in terms of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity and perspective.

Climate Group drives climate action. Fast. Our goal is a world of net zero carbon emissions by 2050, with greater prosperity for all.

We focus on systems with the highest emissions and where our networks have the greatest opportunity to drive change. We do this by building large and influential networks and holding organisations accountable, turning their commitments into action.

We share what we achieve together to show more organisations what they could do. We are an international non-profit organisation, founded in 2004, with offices in London, Amsterdam, Beijing, New Delhi and New York.
