Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join the Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) at Charing Cross Hospital.
As a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse you will be part of the ward leadership team and will lead, support and grow a team of nurses & HCAs to deliver excellent care for patients experiencing stroke.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring.
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision
- To assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the nursing team
- To deputise for the Senior Nurse when required
- To keep up to date with skills and knowledge
