Job description:

As a Senior Staff CPU Verification Engineer, you will work hands-on and contribute across the Verification TriCore team possibly in a lead role or key contributor in one of the key functions needed for CPU/IP Verification. You will take the ownership and drive verification methodologies for high quality deliveries.

In your new role you will:

  • Work hands-on and contribute across the team in one of the key functions needed for CPU Verification;
  • Own and develop verification components (UVCs) of IFX current and future projects;
  • Be responsible for one or several verification components;
  • Ensure that all deliveries are compliant with relevant processes;
  • Provide technical support to customers;
  • Gather requirements and define the verification plan.

You are also looking forward to work with different people in a stimulating environment. Your proactive personality allied with your excellent communication skills allow you to solve problems in an effective way and mitigate risks early. Furthermore, you have a detail-oriented mindset and the job specific skillset that helps you increase the efficiency of the verification activities.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent degree;
  • Full and deep understanding of the CPU architectures is an advantage;
  • Expertise in hardware verification languages such as SV UVM or Specman e, UVM and SVAs, and SystemVerilog;
  • Knowledge of verification platform and framework development, RTL and Gate level (optional) functional verification;
  • Proven experience of IP/Sub-System/SoC verification including delivering to metric targets;
  • Experience with assembly language development and software development tools;
  • Experience in C/C++ with a focus on modern C++ (i.e. C++11/14), SystemC TLM 2.0, Perl and Python. TriCore would be a plus;
  • Knowledge in Linting tools (PC Lint or equivalent) would be a plus;
  • Knowledge in Revision control systems (Clearcase, SVN, Git, Team Bucket or equivalent);
  • Solid knowledge of English language.
