Job Description
Purpose
This position reports to Senior Manager - Group FP&A and is a highly visible key role within the Group FP&A team supporting a diverse range of reporting and analysis. The primary focus includes working with the finance teams across our global business and cross functionally to support the monthly and quarterly reporting, drive continuous improvement, and manage standard processes. The role is very hands on and will support the external earnings process, quarterly BOD presentations, monthly reporting rhythms, and the annual budgeting process along with ad hoc projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Partner with the local finance teams and cross functionally to support the reporting and budgeting processes across the markets to support shareholder objectives and meet Group timelines
• Lead routine processes each month and quarter (e.g. quarterly scorecard, monthly Exco reporting, etc.)
• Work closely with the financial reporting teams to improve quality and timeliness of reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare presentations to provide Group Exco and the BOD clear insight into the business
• Analyze financial performance against budget / forecast highlighting trends, investigating variances, and effectively communicating the variance drivers
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify, standardize and streamline FP&A processes
• Support, collaborate and execute on Group wide projects impacting the local teams
Qualifications
Education:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree
Experience:
- 4 - 8 years of solid financial reporting experience in a publicly listed multinational (US listed preferred) at a segment or group level
- Proven track record of cross functional collaboration to drive change and continuous improvement across multiple regions & cultures
- Strong experience in supporting month end reporting at a Group or segment level across multiple geographies, businesses, and time zones
- Hands-on experience of using financial systems (e.g. HFM, Essbase, OneStream) and building automated reports / analysis from data within
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills essential
